No account registration is required. Everyday translation runs on the device and remains available if online features are temporarily unavailable.

Install

Download the local package, unzip it, open chrome://extensions, enable Developer mode, choose “Load unpacked,” and select the extracted folder.

Selection translation

Select text, then press Alt+T (Option+T on Mac), or use the right-click menu. This is computed on your device.

Side panel

Press Alt+L, or click the toolbar icon. Change shortcuts at chrome://extensions/shortcuts. In the panel you can paste longer passages, switch the target language, and hear or copy the result.

Four capabilities

• Translate: get the meaning. Runs on your device, unlimited.
• Precise translate: a version closer to the original wording and tone.
• Explain: the idiom, tone, and context behind the sentence.
• Rewrite: polish your own sentence into natural wording.

Allowance

The last three have a free monthly allowance: 10 precise translations, 5 explanations, and 3 rewrites, reset each month. Everyday translation stays unlimited.

Open the side panel and choose Feedback. An email address is optional. Do not submit passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information.

Privacy and data
